How you can help
There are a number of ways you can help to alleviate hygiene poverty. The Kindness Closet is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Packing Events
We will be having packing events for volunteers to come and help. Check the Events page for ways to get involved.
Host a Supply Drive
The biggest way you can help support our mission, is to reach out to your friends, family, church, businesses to engage your community in giving back. Organizing a supply drive is a meaningful service project where you deliver hygiene products to either HealthReach Clinic or The Closet at the Christian Mission . Stock our Closet at HealthReach Community Clinic
You, your family, or a school, church, or community group can sign up to sponsor one of our existing Closets at HealthReach Clinic for a week. You simply acquire the hygiene items and bring them directly to the Closet at HealthReach during the week to keep it stocked for patients. It’s simple, but rewarding and impactful, in that you can see how you are benefiting the community in a meaningful and direct way.
